1. Introduction

At Mera Bharat Bazaar, we work with independent sellers, artisans, and tribal craftspeople from across India.
Shipping times may vary depending on the seller’s location, product availability, courier partners, and your delivery pincode.

We aim to deliver every order safely and on time while ensuring proper handling of handmade and delicate items.


2. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days.

  • Handmade and custom-crafted items may take a bit longer.

  • In rare cases (festivals, bulk orders, rural locations), processing may take up to 5–7 days.

You will receive an update once your order is processed and shipped.


3. Shipping Timeline

The products would be delivered to the customer’s within 4 to 6 days .

Estimated delivery time after dispatch:

  • Metro Cities: 3–7 business days

  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: 5–10 business days

  • Rural / Remote Locations: 7–14 business days

Actual delivery depends on courier service quality and regional accessibility.


4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges may vary based on:

  • Seller location

  • Product weight & size

  • Delivery pincode

  • Courier partner rate

Shipping costs (if applicable) will be clearly shown during checkout.

Some sellers may offer Free Shipping on selected products.


5. Multiple Items & Multiple Sellers

Since Mera Bharat Bazaar is a multivendor marketplace, your order may include products shipped by different sellers.

Therefore:

  • Items may arrive in separate packages

  • Delivery dates for each item may differ

  • Tracking details for each package will be shared when available


6. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is shipped:

  • You will receive a tracking link via SMS/Email/App notification

  • You can check status directly through our platform

If tracking does not update for 48 hours, contact our support team.


7. Delivery Attempts

Courier partners will make up to 2–3 delivery attempts.

Orders may be marked as RTO (Return to Origin) if:

  • Customer is unavailable

  • Address is incorrect

  • Phone number is unreachable

  • Customer refuses delivery

Re-shipping will require additional charges if the customer is at fault.


8. Delayed Deliveries

Delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Festive seasons

  • Transportation strikes

  • Remote/rural locations

  • Natural calamities

  • High seasonal order volumes

We will always try our best to support you during such delays, but delays caused by courier companies are beyond our direct control.


9. Undelivered or Lost Packages

If your order is:

  • Lost in transit

  • Not updated in tracking

  • Marked delivered but not received

Contact us within 48 hours.
We will coordinate with the courier partner to resolve the issue.

Compensation or refund decisions will depend on courier investigation results.


10. International Shipping (If Enabled in Future)

If we introduce international shipping:

  • Delivery timelines will vary based on country

  • Additional customs duties may apply

  • International orders may not qualify for return

A separate policy will be published if activated.


11. Packaging

Sellers and artisans use:

  • Protective packaging

  • Bubble wrap

  • Corrugated boxes

  • Cloth / eco-friendly packaging (where available)

We ensure safe handling, especially for fragile handmade products.


12. Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery

If the address provided is incorrect or incomplete:

  • Delivery may fail

  • Package may be returned to seller

  • Re-delivery charges may apply
