1. Introduction

At Mera Bharat Bazaar, customer satisfaction is important to us.
Since we work with independent sellers, artisans, and tribal craft makers, every product is unique. Still, if you face any issue with your order, our Return & Refund Policy explains how we can help.

This policy follows Indian e-commerce regulations and applies to all purchases made on our website and mobile app.


2. Eligibility for Return/Refund

You may request a return, refund, or replacement only if:

βœ” Wrong product delivered
βœ” Damaged or defective product
βœ” Product not matching description
βœ” Missing items in the order

Return requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery, along with clear proof (photos/videos of the issue).


3. Conditions Where Returns Are Not Accepted

Due to the nature of handmade and artisan products, returns are not accepted in the following cases:

❌ Minor variations in color, texture, size, or design
(Handmade items naturally vary from piece to piece)

❌ Customer changed mind or no longer wants the product
❌ Damage caused by customer misuse
❌ Product used, washed, worn, or altered
❌ Customized/Personalized items
❌ Items without original packaging
❌ Products marked as Non-Returnable on the product page


4. Return Request Process (Step-by-Step)


The returns would happen within 3 to 4 days and also the damaged and defective items would be processed within 4 to 5 days and the replaced products would be delivered to the customer within 3 days.

If you are receiving any damaged or defective products please contact us within 24 hrs so we will Re-deliver either exchange or replace products within 5-6 working days.

To initiate a return:

2️⃣ Provide:

  • Order ID

  • Product name

  • Reason for return

  • Photos/videos of the damaged/wrong item

3️⃣ Our team will review within 24–48 hours
4️⃣ If approved, we will arrange:

  • Reverse pickup (where available), OR

  • Ask you to ship the product back to the seller’s address

Reverse pickup availability depends on courier partners and your pincode.


5. Inspection & Approval

Once the product is received:

  • Seller inspects the item

  • Decision is based on condition and provided proof

  • Approval or rejection is communicated within 2–5 business days

If the return is rejected due to misuse or false claim, the product will be sent back to you.


6. Refund Policy

The refunded amount would be credited to the customer’s bank account within 3 to 4 days .

Refunds may be issued as:

Refund Timeline:

  • 3–7 business days after approval

  • Bank processing time may vary


7. Replacement Policy

If the seller has the same product in stock, a replacement will be arranged.
If unavailable, you may receive a refund instead.


8. Order Cancellation

By Customer:

Orders can be canceled before dispatch.
Once shipped, cancellation is not possible.

By Mera Bharat Bazaar:

An order may be canceled if:

  • Product is unavailable

  • Seller cannot fulfill

  • Payment not completed

  • Fraudulent activity suspected

Full refund will be processed for canceled orders.


9. Non-Delivery or Wrong Delivery

If your order is:

πŸ“¦ Marked as delivered but not received

Report within 48 hours, and we will coordinate with the courier partner for investigation.


10. Return Shipping Cost

  • If the issue is genuine, seller bears return shipping cost

  • If the customer wants to return without valid reason, customer may bear shipping cost

  • Handmade products may not qualify for return unless defective/wrong


11. Products Sold by Independent Sellers

Mera Bharat Bazaar is a multivendor marketplace.
Each seller manages quality and packaging of their own products.

However, we support buyers in disputes and ensure fair resolution under this Policy.


12. Special Notes for Handmade & Artisan Goods

Because many items are:

  • Handmade

  • Traditionally crafted

  • Made by tribal artisans

  • Unique and limited

Small imperfections (not defects) are natural and celebrated as part of cultural craftsmanship.


13. International Orders (if applicable)

If international shipping is enabled in the future:

  • Returns may not be available

  • Additional customs or duties are buyer’s responsibility
